Description
Alper ultra flat polyester heating pads are the result of a particular screen printing process that permits to obtain very thin flexible heating elements. These flexible heaters (similar to etched foil heaters) with minimum thickness could reach 90°C temperature and ensure homogeneous heat distribution. The main applications are: household appliances, little animals, real estate sector, industry, automotive and many others. PET flexible film heaters are printed with silver and carbon paste which respectively give conduction and heating effect. The continuous research of new carbon mixtures allows Alper to grant a very flexible production capability and satisfy any customer needs. The technology used consents to reduce set up and amendment costs (about +/- 20% in power) of new projects just with carbon paste mixture changes. This technology gives flexible heaters high ohmic values, target very difficult to be reached by alluminium etched foil processes or cables. The conductive and resistive mixtures adopted by Alper are perfect to assure the highest values of flexibility also during operation, so heaters can work being flexed at the same time. Upon request Alper can supply a great variety of accessories such as temperature limiters, sensors,… The production process of Alper PET heating foils is completely ecological and safe: there are no waste polluted substances released in the ambient.

Alper was founded in 1992 as R&D company dedicated to the development of PET carbon heating elements. Alper designs and creates invisible comfort thanks to the production of flexible adhesive PET and carbon heating films, silicon and PVC heating elements and drum heaters; these products are designed for a vast range of applications in different markets and contexts such as Automotive, Ho.Re.Ca, Industry and Medical, Comfort and others.
In few years Alper developed an innovative know-how for production of flexible heating foils, named PTF (Polymer Thick Film), made by silver tracks and carbon paste. Flexible Products
The basic materials adopted by Alper to make ultra-flat heaters (PET - Polyester) combined with the very ductile silver / carbon silk printed paste make the heating elements extremely flexible and adaptable to any cylindrical surface.
Furthermore, Alper can keep the same shape of heaters and modify the absorbed power (produced heat) just amending the carbon paste composition.
The shapes, powers, voltages, types of self-adhesive... can be any, up to a continuous temperature of about 100°C.
